The Cake

We had Ella's 1st birthday party tonight at our house. Here's a picture of the cake...I'll post more pictures later. A BIG thank you goes out to Katie for being the Cake Queen and helping me make Ella's cute flower cake (in case you missed my post the first time around, click here for more examples of her work!).

Crazy cool cakes

My friend Katie has this super cool talent of making the best little kid birthday cakes. She helped me ("help" isn't really the right word...she did all the work and I stood there and said encouraging things) with Dylan's first birthday cake, a giraffe. She just sent me a picture of the fish cake she made for her own son's first birthday a couple of weeks ago. Look and be amazed.
